Establishment

The Federal Police Disciplinary Tribunal was established by the Complaints (Australian Federal Police Act) 1981 (Complaints Act). The Complaints Act was repealed by Schedule 2 of the Law Enforcement (AFP Professional Standards and Related Measures) Act 2006 (No 84 of 2006) which commenced on 30 December 2006.

With the repeal of the Complaints Act, the Tribunal ceased to exist.
